Dollface Aesthetics, Nurse Led Skincare Clinic

Based in Clayton, Bradford, Dollface Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics clinic owned and operated by Nurse Emma Borek, offering safe, medically-led treatments and advanced skincare.

Nurse Emma Borek | BSc (Hons) RGN, INP, LLB (Hons)

Emma initially graduated with a Law degree (LLB Hons) and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC), aspiring to specialise in medical negligence law. After working in the legal field for three years, she decided to follow in her family’s footsteps, with several relatives also working as nurses, and pursue a career in healthcare. Her interest in nursing was first sparked at a young age when her mother was unwell and the compassion shown by the nurses caring for her family left a lasting impression. Inspired by their kindness and professionalism, Emma retrained as a nurse, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Nursing in 2016.

Emma worked as a Band 6 Sister in a busy Accident & Emergency department, managing a team of staff and caring for critically unwell patients. Her experience includes dealing with complex emergencies such as anaphylaxis, wound management, and acute medical care, skills that underpin her safe and meticulous approach to aesthetics.

Alongside her NHS role, Emma practised in aesthetics for six years before leaving the health service to open her own clinic in Clayton in 2022. She has been working in aesthetics for over nine years in total and, in July 2025, qualified as an Independent and Supplementary Prescriber.

Independent Prescriber Status

This qualification means Emma can carry out medical assessments, make clinical decisions, and prescribe prescription-only medicines, without needing input from a doctor. For patients, this means quicker access to treatment, a smoother experience, and the reassurance that every stage of care is managed in-house by a highly trained medical professional.

An Honest and Ethical Approach to Aesthetic Consultations

Emma’s approach is rooted in honesty, integrity, and patient wellbeing. She will never recommend treatments that aren’t necessary, nor will she point out flaws that could create new insecurities. With an awareness of body dysmorphia and the psychological impact of cosmetic work, she ensures patients do not go “too far” and, when appropriate, refers them to trusted surgical colleagues if their desired results require an alternative approach.
